anyone need a co-pilot? My car is buried in winter storage and I fear I wont be
able to dig it out for the event.

>
>Dear NOBBC friends,
>
>>From the responses, it looks like we're going to have a big turnout, and some
>fun cars on Sunday! The original announcement is below.
>
>I drove Sweetwater Springs rd yesterday and it is the kind of road for which
>British sports cars were made! It's only 10 miles but took me 30 minutes. It's
>a one lane road for much of its length.
>
>The rain gods are with us. The forecast shows no rain this weekend, and
>temperatures in the upper 60s.
>
>I'll have fresh baked croissants and coffee on the patio at 10 am. Remember to
>park your car snug against the next car forming a circle on the gravel in the
>back of my house. If someone else can play parking attendant and/or
>photographer I'd be grateful, so I can attend to everything else. We'll leave
>at 10:30, and should be at Armstrong Redwoods by 11:30. I have route maps
>printed out for everyone.
>
>We'll need to keep our stroll in the redwoods brief, so we can all be at
>Korbel by 12:15 for our private tour and tasting.
>
>See you Sunday!

>Hi NOBBC Friends!
>
>We're going to have a fabulous ride on Feb 14th, and the long range weather
>forecast suggests that the rain gods will be bypassing us that day.
>
>Korbel Champagne Cellars (a 100 + year old champagne maker in Guerneville) is
>going to host us for a private tour and champagne tasting. They make award
>winning Chardonnay Champagne, Pinot Champagne, and many other varieties, and
>the history of the whole bay area wine region is displayed in their cellars.
>
>We'll gather at my house at 10 am for coffee and croissants. We'll park in a
>big circle, like last year, so we can photograph all the cars nose out. My
>address is 1490 Mark West Springs Rd, Santa Rosa, CA 95404. The driveway is on
>your right, about 2 1/2 miles east of 101, between a big yellow 1490 mailbox
>and a street sign that says "Michelle Way."
>
>We'll leave around 10:30, and drive Sweetwater Springs road, one of the most
>gorgeous roads in the north bay. We'll stop at Armstrong Woods redwood state
>park to stretch our legs at the end, and take a brief stroll among the giant
>redwoods, the tallest of which is over 2,000 years old, and over 300 feet
>high.
>
>Then we'll drive on to Korbel for a 12:30 tour and tasting. Korbel has a
>gourmet deli at which you can purchase food, or you can bring your own.
>
>Don't forget this is a great opportunity to introduce newcomers to the club,
>and to show off our cars at some public venues. So invite your friends to ride
>along!
>
>See you on Sunday!
