Dennis & Sheryl will be at the Lake Tahoe Marathon this weekend, so we won't be
on the drive.
Regarding the Tour - sounds like a great drive and I am sure we will be a part
of it!
Enjoy yourselves!

Hallo,
It's great to hear there is interest in this drive! Thanks so much for
the feedback Ron, Norm, Robin, John. I'll pass on little tidbits about
Saintsbury, Dave Graves, and my long association with them throughout
the next months as I develop the route. We'll shoot for the first
stable, good weather in the Spring when it's warm enough to enjoy being
outside in their beautiful garden.
I've already mapped out part of the route, which includes the always
exciting Trinity Road. Between Streets and Trips, Live Search Maps, and
Google Earth, I'm spotting all the good turnouts for stragglers to get
caught up.
Here's one tidbit; Dave has always loved British cars. As a kid he
helped his brother work on his Midget and TR4. He's really looking
forward to having us visit, so let's get a good-sized group together.
Norman, you'll have plenty of time to decide what bottle of Cab you wish
to bring, but I think you'll like their Pinot - it's one of the best
I've ever had (and I've worked for about 30 wineries, many of which
provide samples).
Robin, you now have a goal line for the Jag. If it doesn't happen, we'll
make sure you get a ride, either with Trish or myself, or another member!
In the meantime, the drive this Saturday should be great.
Cheers,
Greg
