Elkhart Lake Vintage Festival XII
Triumph is the featured marque!
September 20 - 22, 1996
ELVF XII is only one week away, running Friday, September 20 through Sunday,
September 22. Vintage Triumphs of Wisconsin (VTOW) is proud and excited that
this year the Vintage Sports Car Driver's Association, which has rented the
Road America track for the weekend, has made Triumph the featured marque and
has invited VTOW to show homage to Triumphs at the event. With over fifty
Triumphs registered to race and hundreds of non-racing Triumphs expected,
this could be the biggest Triumph event in the country this year and
certainly the most significant ever at Road America.
The regular Road America gates will not be open for this event. Entrance to
the track is through the Farmhouse Office Entrance just past Gate 1. This is
where you can register for entrance to the track and receive your
registration materials. Registration costs are $25 for all three days, or
$12.50 for Saturday only or $15.00 for Sunday only. (Quite a bargain for
such an event!!!)
In addition to the great racing, including an all Triumph race, there are a
number of activities for non-racing cars, including:
- Saturday morning Kettle Moraine Scenic Breakfast Tour - $12.50.
- Tour of the original street track - included in your registration fee.
- People choice contest for Triumphs - $5/car entered.
- Special parking area for Triumphs (South Paddock).
- ½ hour track time - $50.
- VSCDA Banquet - $26 (Reservations must be in by Wednesday, 9/18).
- Triumph parade lap - included in your registration fee.
- Guided tour of the paddock - included in your registration fee.
If you did not pre-register and wish to participate in one of the non-racing
activities, please check with us when you sign in. If space is still
available we'll get you in. VTOW volunteers will be available to assist you
however we can. You can recognize any of us by our green VTOW name badge.
We will have an information and hospitality canopy set up in the South
Paddock area where all of the Triumphs are being parked. If you have any
questions, problems or need assistance of any kind please seek one of us out.
A colorful ELVF XII Poster, featuring two of the racing Triumphs, will also
be available for $4.00 And we will have a limited number of ELVF XII
Sweatshirts available for $25.00 These may be purchased at the registration
area or at the VTOW canopy.
Enjoy yourself, enjoy the cars and the races and most importantly have a safe

"Furthest Traveled" and "Furthest Driven (to the event in a Triumph)".
All Triumphs in the People's Choice Contest
will be parked in the South Paddock and arranged by model.
Voting for cars will be continuous over the three-day event
and everyone who registers for ELVF XII will be eligible to vote.
Awards will be presented at the VTOW Canopy at 2:00 pm on Sunday.
If you are not present for the award presentation,
your award will be sent to you.
