>From a Morris owner-- Any help out there?
Paul A
The other day there was a Morris Minor 1000 Tourer in horrid shape selling
with an "extra" hard top that had been cut from another car. The more I
thought about the concept and the hard top that I used to stick on my
daughter's Miata in winter, the more I liked the idea -- but the less I liked
the idea of decapitating some poor Moggie junker. Then I saw somewhere
(MiniMania?) fiberglass wings and boots and bonnets and I thought, why the
hell not? Why doesn't someone make a fiberglass top for a Moggie that can be
fitted onto a Tourer for a warmer winter?
So I thought I'd ask -- does someone do this already? Do you know someone who
would do it? Given that the market unquestionably would be small, I would
expect a high price, but I might be willing to subsidize a prototype, if
someone wants to try it.
Anybody have some good ideas? My Moggie will be painted in the next couple of
months so this is a great time to bolt on a few extras.
