Hello all!!
Our car club is hosting a show here in Nashville, TN on April 26, 2003 to
benefit the Tennessee Baptist Children's Home. This is a privately funded
children's home started in the 1800's when the "Orphan Trains" were sent out
from large cities in the North and Midwest to export "excess orphans".
The home gets every dime of profit, and their ratio of dollar donation to usage
is around .98 cents on the dollar..........FAR higher than most charitable
organizations.
We will hold the show on a portion of 70 rolling acres of land interlaced by
paved drives in Nashville.
In spite of all the prep, we are trying to limit the cars to 300 of all types,
and I would like to have a large Morris contingent of both cars and trucks of
all types come out.
Major sponsors such as Marriott mean that not only will everyone get a door
prize and the larger prizes are quite nice.....such as free rooms good
nationwide!
Trophies for the classes of course, and the site is near many Historic sites,
antique shops, etc., as well as nightlife attractions.
Put us on the calendar for 2003, as we should be the first show of the year.
Don't miss this show!
Best,
Ray
