Don't know the brand but don't let that worry you - I put some Korean made
Signet tyres on our last BMW and they turned out to be Dunlop tread and
molds and worked great for $160 for the set installed. I also needed some
cheap tyres quick for the 350 Nova and found a set of off-brand 215/65X15
radials that look great and work well for less then $200 for the set
installed! Made in Indonesia out of REAL rubber!!!
The 165X14 are a bit big for the stock width Minor rims BUT they work fine
and look OK - we've run 165s on a number of our Minors, though I now have a
new set of French Dunlop 155s on our convertible that cost well over $300
plus instalation and shipping from British Wire Wheel in Santa Cruz, CA.
The Federals sound like a good deal.
