It's time again for the eMog Photo Contest! (says meself to a rousing
cheer from the eMog bar).
The contest will function along lines similar to the contests in the
past. Photos will be submitted offline to Tcherek Kamstra, the eMogger
Galleries Directrice at galleries@emog.com Tcherek will post them in
a special contest section http://www.gomog.com/bin/photos/index.pl
with no names but simply a number. Tcherek shall inform us of the
identity of the winners at the contest conclusion.
Here are the categories, their parameters and their prizes.
CONCOURS D'ELEGANCE
This is a category that will be judged on criteria of photographic
excellence and creative artistry. The judge will be the man known to
all the Morgan Community photographer for most of the last 4 decades,
John H. Sheally II. The prize is very appropriate being the exquisite
Champagne spoken of here recently. This is one of the very last
bottles of Morgan Club de France Pretige Brut. The Moderators thank
Douglas Hallawell for his kind help here.
PEOPLE'S CHOICE
This category is what it implies. We shall each vote for our choices
by logging into the Morganville site
http://www.morganville.org/index.php where a poll will be prepared
allowing us to vote. The winner of this category shall receive a copy
of MORGAN SPORTS CARS "THE EARLY YEARS" by our own J.D. ("Jake")
Alderson & Chris Chapman. The work will be personally autographed by
Peter and Charles Morgan.
WOMEN OF EMOG (2004 Calendar)
This category will be based as described, featuring an eMog woman and
her mog. The top two choices shall be featured in the Isis Calendar 2004.
The single winner shall receive one of our three eMog badges (BADGE
not pin!) held in reserve by the Moderators. The judge of this category
shall be Tcherek Kamstra.
GENERAL
Entries will be accepted until October 15th, 2003. The contest is free
and it shall be open to all...emoggers or not.
