Though copper/brass are indeed better heat conductors than aluminum,
modern tube design and super light weights make aluminum alloy a fine
choice for a Morgan.
I used Griffin Radiator, one of the best in the business, who also
copied my radiator to make its twin in alloy but with an enormously more
efficient cooling capacity.
They also sell bulkhead side mounted recovery tanks in aluminum. Look at
http://griffinrad.com/raceoptions.htm and scroll down until you see the
surge tanks.
I took the oval one, trimmed some of the back aluminum off for looks and
changed the lower fitting to an elbow.
