Hi Ed - just got my latest Rough Rider and it triggered this question that
you might have the scoop on. To wit: is Ron Naida still doing Morgan
work? Where is he now and how to contact him? I visited Bonnets Up! many
years ago and have lost track. Have any MCCDC members had recent dealings
w/ him, good or bad, who I might talk to?
I'm on his trail because I'm casting about for someone to do a alloy tub
for my 4/4 project. I've got a lot of the "big" parts from the factory
over the years and need someone who is willing to work w/ my inventory
somehow. I would like to get a body before summer [I've got a source for a
summer delivery] and I know I can get a tub pretty quick from UK vendors w/
whom I've corresponded, but the $$$ outlay going that route scares me just now.
On a unrelated front, please keep me in mind if a return trip to Cheltenham
et al shapes up. While my 4/4 would be the preferred vehicle I'm
encouraged by your recent adventure to consider shipping my DHC even though
handing it over to stevedores gives me the willies! Anyway ... thanks for
any help you can provide.
