Windscreen rubber styles must be historic.

I bought my first Morgan 4/4 series II in 1960, that ended up with a MG Tc
(XPAG) engine. I rebuilt a car for competion in 1963 with the 1,500cc ford
unit, alloy body and Austin A40 rear axle 975lbs instead of 145 lbs of
Salisbury unit) and an alloy hardtop with cut down windscreen. . All these
cars had front facing rubbers.

The first time I saw rearward bent rubbers was in the US after 1985 but now
the works do it too? Sometime there was a changover - does anybody know
when?

Regrads to all Mike Virr '59 4/4 (with forward facing rubbers).
