I wonder if the added expense is really worth it? I've gotten good service
(6-8 years) with a simple off-the-shelf Sears Die-Hard. I think I've gone
through 3-4 batteries in 25 years. The ol' girl starts every time even (I'm
ashamed to say) if she sits for months on end.
Of course maybe this is not a function of the battery, maybe it's because it's
a 4/4 .. . . . . . .
Cheers, Craig Seibert ('61 4/4, '68 +8)
