Hey Guys,
And annudda t'ing...
Most of you probably know that Click and Clack, the Tappet Brothers', website
now features their "car-o-scope," a program whereby one selects one's sled
from a pick list and then answers a few questions and the program tells you
whether you and your ride are compatible or not. This used to be done
"realtime" but has been so popular that they now have you do the questions,
then e-mail their analysis to you, might take a day, I guess. If, God forbid,
you and your sled are incompatibly, Click and Clack will make recommendations
on a new ride for you...
I took the exam and learned I was totally unsuited to both our Alfa and our
Subaru... Click and Clack said
I was too neat (a comment that STILL has Janet laughing) and too caring
(ditto) and too rich for the
Alfa and too poor for the Subaru and not snobbish enough for either one...
Click and Clack recommend
that I immediately get myself into (ahem!) a Caddy or (for Christ's sake!) a
BUICK! Or start taking snob
lessons...
I tried to take the exam for Sunbeams and Morgans but the Tappet Brothers say
there is "insufficient
data." So, I'll just have to wait for more discerning individuals to take the
survey before I can learn if I need to shed myself of those cars, too.

While you are at the site take the exam for your grocery-getters and
parts-chasers. And if you guys also
come up with recommendations for Caddies or (for Christ sakes!) Buicks, I will
know that this is just
another scam these two MIT refugees have come up with to make tons o' bucks
while avoiding honest
labor.
