RHINEMOG '99 UPDATE
FOR SATURDAY, JUNE 19, 1999

The airshow at Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome will start at 2:30 pm and last
approximately 2 hours.
        Directions:
From Taconic State Parkway: Exit at NY Rte. 199 (Red
Hook/Rhinebeck). Follow 199 about 8-10 miles until entering (You may not
notice) Red Hook. Pass a small car wash on left, take next left (On right
is a Laundromat). There may be an Aerodrome sign or a sign for Norton Rd.
Follow 2-3 miles to Aerodrome. Should you miss this, all is not lost.
Simply continue into Red Hook, go left at light (US Rte. 9), and continue
south on 9 for about 5 miles. On right will be a colonial stone church and
on left is Stone Church Rd. Take Stone Church Rd.
From NY Thruway: Exit at Exit 19 (Kingston), take NY Rte 209
East to Kingston/Rhinecliff Bridge. At second light (Rte 9G) take a right.
About 2-3 miles at next light, go left on US Rte 9 North. About 1/2 mile at
Old Stone Church (On left), go right on Stone Church Rd.
ALL: Follow Stone Church Rd. to the Aerodrome (1-2 mi.). When you
come to the "Y," if in a "tin-top," go left and use regular Aerodrome parking
(Also for use if you've trailered your Moggie). If driving your beloved
Morgan, go right at Y and enter first dirt "trail" on left. THIS IS ACTUALLY
THE RUNWAY'S SOUTH END, SO BE CAREFUL!!! Stay left and someone will direct
you, or you'll see our parking.
Suggestion: Try to arrive before noon as it is the first airshow of
the season, and it could (?) get busy.
If you haven't let me know about dinner (6:30 at Rolling Rock Cafe in
Rhinebeck), please do asap so I may update the reservations.

        Cheers & Happy Morganing,
                Jim Nichol
