You're right about the difference in comfort between air cushions and foam -
even with good dense foam there's no comparison.  I have both my original air
bladders but they both have slow leaks, which are annoying until they turn
into faster leaks, when I can then patch them and find the next slow leak.
33-year-old rubber will only get worse.....I hope Melvyn R. runs off a new
batch; if anyone finds out that they have, let the rest of us know (after you
