I am rebuilding the rear end of my 67 plus 4. I have pulled the axle/hubs on both sides and on the left one I was able to separate the hub from the axle very easily. However on the right side I cannot get them to split apart. I have been unsuccessful with my 12 ton press and applying heat from my small propane torch. I also broke a pretty heavy duty gear puller on this. Does anyone have experience with getting these apart? Thanks, Phil Roettjer |
