Guys, it's just hard to believe that they're all that strong. You can jack on
one corner of the car and the wheel you're jacking is a foot off the floor
before any other tire even starts to move up. Those little wood screws,
tacks, and 1/4" plywood sure don't give you a lot of confidence that a bollard
or guardrail would take much notice and slow down much on their destructive
way past toward your body.
Maybe as a unit, it all fuses together and pulls strength from the fabric of
the universe or something. Could be metaphysical; otherwise, how would you
explain us owning one?
