Toad:
I'll take it off your hands (for free). Can probably arrange to drive up to
Ottawa in the next two weeks (on business of course!) and bring it back to
Montreal with me. If the original owner ever does decide to take it back,
it will be here for the taking.

Subject: TR 3 Engine Block
Listenerati
I need the room.
Many years ago or should I have started this story off with, "Once upon
a time I did acquire a TR 3 engine block that had come from a Morgan.
At the beginning of this story there was a '67 Plus 4, Drop Head
Coupe, serial number 6409 that had undergone an engine transplant. The
owner at that time was not concerned about "matching numbers." And funny
as it may seem, all the subsequent owners have had the same opinion that
matching numbers aren't really that important or significant. A good
friend of mine from The Netherlands has confirmed that the engine number
and vehicle serial number belong together, (right Hermen?)
Well fellow Morgan affectionados this block could be destined for an
ignominious (dishonourable) end. For a mere pittance it is available to
a good home.

Wheeler Club of UK)
