I recently installed a new heater in my 59 4/4 (fitted with a 1600 crossflow). The heater is a modified (as per Fred Sissons book) Smiths unit . The problem is the heater core never gets hot. I suspect there is an air pocket causing this and have tried various methods to try an free it up without success. Any suggestions? John |
