Dear all:

First Question: Has anyone out there contemplated or actually done a tranny
swap on your 4/4 with the Merkur XR4Ti 5-speed?  Rumor among my local car
guy support group is that this shouldn't be that hard to do, and some have
reported seeing it mated to the twink, if not to the earlier iterations of
the noble Kent engine.  

Second Question: if I were to put webers on me 'umble 1500, would DCOE 40s
be overkill?  Any experience with this on the 'side flow' engine?
