This car is all Bill Phillips says it is- A "knock-out" restoration. Not
overdone chromed-up trailer queen. On one of it's first outtings, Bill & his
wife drove it 10 miles in the worst rain I have ever driven my Mog in... I had
the top on- Bill & Maryanne (& others) didn't. All I could see was their
tailights & lightening...
This has got to be one of the finest 4 strs anywhere & the price is
reasonable. The car makes you salivate... but is "understated". The closer you
look- the more you appreciate the quality of work in this car. At a meeting of
MogSouth (30 cars & more owners) we voted it as the car we would most like to
take home...
Malcomb Terry (who built the car) by the way, has a +4 with ex-NASCAR Grand
National V6 power. I haven't seen it nor met Malcomb- but looking forward to
it. He does wonderful work (and is a fellow Hoosier..) His car has to have a
huge grin factor.
