A second question?

On a 1987 Morgan Plus 8 with a fuel-injected Rover 3.5 litre/V-8 engine 
- just what DOT and EPA requirements were in existence and in effect at 
that time?  I guess I really don't know and I am hoping there is a much 
more technically-oriented person out there who will.
