Is OPTIMAL a typo or a brand. (VS OPTIMA). If a typo... that is a GREAT price for an OPTIMA. Imagonna get on the horn... The unique feature of the Optima is that it is "spiral wound" giving it much greater plate area. Also as the "plates" are wound, they can be pure lead rather than an alloy as in regular batterys. Structurial (SP? it's late..) strength is not a design factor for wound "plates". They are the best.... You probably have the same design in your electric screwdriver. Fred Sisson |
