Hi,
John's book is great for the collection,being a good friend of John I
would not criticise it. But for in depth restroration info you will need
more.
As to the original colours, drop the factory a line with the chassis
number and they will probably furnish you with a copy of the orginal
bill of sale and specifications requested by the original purchaser.
