Happy to report that New Zealand seems to be the classics Nirvana -
everything seems to age well here. My 1939 4-4 came here in 1984,
one year after a ground-up restoration in the UK and has no rot or
rust. My 1951 MGYA, here since new and still original, has neither.
Ted Reid's '51 Plus 4, ditto. Ted, in his 80s, still blasts around
on a Yamaha 650cc motorbike also.
