Dave,
How many people know what a Morgan is much less a Super Sport
Morgan? That's also why I suggested getting a spare 1/2 hood. If
you are going to show it, take the airfilters off and swap the 1/2
of the hood. Now you're back stock.
The Morgan clubs don't usually charge points for that. This is a
problem area for me. They will let you do **anything** that improves
the car as long as the Factory would have done it (if that had thought
about it).
Consiquently, there is no difference between a modified and a **pure**
stock car. However, the **modified** car can look a lot nicer. For
example, my car came with rubber floor mats and nothing in the boot
area. It really makes the car look cheap. Especially compared to
a car that has had carpet laid on the floor boards and boot area and
vynal covering on the fender arches. And the list goes on and on and
on. The only time it really makes any difference is if you are in
an AACA meet. The want the car like it came off the assembly line.
