As a guy living in Europe, I'd say no.
It does not fit on our roads.
The engine's power is an overkill.
The character of the original MGB is lost.
If one would like to have a V8 in an MGB, go fort he 1974 MGB GT V8.
The engine has the same weight as the original B-Series engine
The suspension was slightly altered, but the great roadholding was kept.
