As a follow up, there is a driveline specialty shop a few dorrs down from Bailey's. They scrounged around and came up with a handful of shims in appropriate diameters and thicknesses. Got the diff set up with the contact patch in the sweet spot where it belongs, no need for drastic measures. Well, my fingers still have the faint aroma of gear oil that came from animals that died millions of years ago, but that can be fixed. mjb. _______________________________________________ Mgs@autox.team.net Archive: http://www.team.net/archive Unsubscribe: http://autox.team.net/mailman/options/mgs/mharc@autox.team.net |
