We don't need no stinkin' GPS!
Seriously, I don't know how you hear it without using a headphone. In my MG,
I can't hear my phone's obnoxious ringtone even when it's in my cargo
pocket. And the screen/sunlight issue seems hopeless.
In the old days we recruited winsome young things, and gave them the title
Navigator (whether they could read a map or not).
Personally, I don't understand the need for GPS. I have never seen one do
anything that 5 minutes of looking at a map before setting out wouldn't have
accomplished, and without the distraction of fiddling with a device while
driving, or taking one's eyes off the road.
