It is not a difficult job. Here is how I do it:
Disconnect the battery -- starter wire in in close proximity to wrenches.
Lay a piece of saran wrap/plastic film on the MC filler opening; screw down
the cap
Cut off the old hose
Remove the slave cylinder with hose end
Disconnect hose to metal tube end
Install new hose on the slave cylinder
"offer up" the new hose to the metal tube end and fasten
Bolt up slave cylinder.
Bleed the system
remove the plastic film
use a cable tie to hold slave pushrod fully into the slave cylinder.
do the usual bleeding procedure
connect the slave cylinder to the clutch lever.
