Hmm. I replaced my windshield because it was pitted, chipped and had some
wiper scrapes. Two years later, it was pitted, chipped and had wiper
scrapes. I don't know how that helps you -- just an observation. I was
rather shocked at how "soft" the surface of the new glass was, is all.
