This is one case where the real world does not mirror theory.
In theory you don't have to move the slave cylinder. Disconnect the
metal pipe from the hose. Remove the retaining nut from same end of
hose to disconnect hose form chassis bracket. Unscrew hose from
slave cylinder. Installation is reverse of removal, remembering to
reinstall the copper sealing washer at the slave end of the hose.
In practice, due to limited space, it may be more prudent to dismount
the slave cylinder first (2 large bolts), then unscrew the slave
cylinder from the hose. This may allow more working space to
disconnect the metal pipe and remove the retaining nut.
