Easier yet and I've been doing for 40+ years of Big Healey &
MGB with same fan - Media blast, MagnaFlux, prime & new
paint.  I have been doing that for a VERY long tome -
byproduct is [ knock-on-wood <G> ] I've never had a fractured
fan.
