Antenna replacement on a B

The antenna on my '79 B roadster is broken off, and I want to put in a
modern replacement that will extend when the radio is turned on. Problem is,
I can't see how to remove and replace the antenna. Can I get access to it
without totally removing the front wing? Any hints are gratefully welcomed.
