The workshop manuals show the 5-terminal alternator as being applicable to
68 to 71.
Thick brown goes to + (output)
Thin brown goes to B+ (Battery sense)
Brown/yellow goes to IND (INDicator or ignition warning light) of which
there are two linked together.
'-' or ground is left unconnected as it grounds through its physical
mountings of course.
If you only have one brown wire simply link the + and B+ together, they both
went to the same terminal at the solenoid anyway. I *think* it was a way of
maintaining the correct voltage at the solenoid terminal i.e. overcoming any
volt-drops in the main output wire under high current loadings.
