I had Heritage Upholstery and Trim in North Vancouver, B.C. build up a pair
of correct leather seats for a '66 MGB.
Only the original tubular frames were reused, all other components were
supplied by Heritage (seat foams, rubber diaphragms, hooks, clips, etc) and
used in the in house building of the seats. They are fantastic.
The little details like correct form, smooth piping, perfect fit. etc. were
right on.
It's been my personal observation that most individuals attempting to do
this with kits or whatever, seldom get it just "right".
