As previously said they terminate in the boot, although on my 73 the two
pipes go to separate T-fittings of different sizes and different pipe size.
There is nothing else on the arms of the Ts, just the one pipe on each leg.
One sits near the bottom right front corner i.e. right where the pipe comes
into the boot, the other goes further up, see page 28 of Clausager.  I
concur that later cars just had the single tube (the electrical end was in
the boot by this time and needs no vent pipe) connected to a spigot on a
rear chassis rail, saving the cost of a T-piece ...
