Putting the multimeter on the brake switch and looking for continuity may
give u a false positive depending on the ohm range selected. Best to
disconnect the two wires at the brake switch and feed one terminal post with
a live hot wire and run the other to ground thru a spare working bulb. Step
on the brakes to see the light.
