I believe that Barney Gaylord http//www.mgaguru.com once said he had over 600 
pages and it all was less than 20 MB.  The secret is to reduce all of
your picture files to less than 100 KB in size.  That way people won't get 
tired of waiting for the pictures to load.  The pictures are still clear
enough for most monitors and load fast.

The smaller the picture file, the more you can fit.
