On the body of the SU fuel pump (late model MGB) is an air-vent, which attached to a plastic hose. Does anyone know where this hose is routed? I just completed rebuilding the pump & installing a new tank. I wanted to reconnect the vent line, but the line is rather dry rotted & nasty looking. Is it safe to vent it anywhere, or are there safety considerations I should know about? -- Marc |
