I did it in my 69 MGC. The cross member is different. Not as obstructive. We
took the engine out of my 70B to do those 4 years ago. It was easier to
manage. Three hundred lb. engine is easier to pull then a seven hundred lbs.

I recall recently someone saying they had replaced their piston
rings without removing the engine from the car. I am about to attempt the same
thing in my 74 B. Any tips or guidance as to what problems I can anticipate
would be welcome!
