Well the 78 B's rear end makes rather disconcerting noises when backing off the gas. I have just replaced the 4 thrust washers, star gear phrenolic and the 2 brass cupped ones but the noise is still there, but the small clunk is gone. The only thing I can think of would be the 2 bearings on the main pinion gear that the drive shaft connects to. Any ideas? |
