Talk of an attempted workers buyout on local radio today, and figures from
150 million to 1 billion (UK quids) needed to get it started.  Sadly, no
chance.  Unless a big industrial player comes in with deep pockets and a
willingness to fund them for several years it's a non-starter, and of course
a big industrial player with deep pockets was precisely what John Towers was
after for several years.
