Barrie, I recently tried Norton anti-virus 2005. Since 2004, Symantec has included an "activation" process. Well, I could not get NAV 2005 to "activate", and their support technicians just kept asking the same questions that I had already asked. Then they gave me some *really* bad advice -- advice that would have stopped my PC from working properly. So, I dumped it and requested a refund. Avast has a free (for home use) AV solution. |
