Confirms the conclusion I came to (for one of the contributory factors at
least) when I repaired mine some 14 years ago, including welding in a fillet
in that corner (see http://www.mgb-stuff.org.uk/wn_bodyframe.htm and click
on 'Doors'). Some years later when the Heritage bodies started coming
equipped with doors I noticed just such a fillet, but part of the original
metal work of course. However mine is a *1973* car, certainly without 63
doors. Took a helluva long time to get implemented ...
