Hello List
This is going to be a first for me, clutch gave out on x-mass eve on my 71 "B"
and I'm planning on taking on the project of pulling the engine and replacing
the clutch myself, I'm sure it's the clutch, it sounds like someone threw a
bunch of marbles into the bellhousing, then nothing, no clutch.
I've read the Tech-Manual and pulling the engine seems to be pretty straight
forward, however, there are always quirks that are not listed in a
tech-manual, I would really appreciate if I could get some input from the list
on what to look out for in pulling the engine, what to do, what not to do.
I've heard that some folks take the carb's off before pulling the engine,. is
that necessary?
as always thank you all for your combined wisdom and help
Bernie
