TVR, one of the most successful independent British sports car companies,
has been sold to a 24 year old Russian investor.

Incredibly sad... knowing the naivety of youth, TVR looks poised to become
the next Farboud (a small sports car company that had enormous amounts of
potential, a well developed concept and vehicle(s), but has nearly been
mismanaged into the ground by their very young owner).

TVR's new owner has not even ever owned one vehicles that the firm
produces...

And for even more relevant LBC content, TVR have used both MG and Triumph
drivetrains in the past (just ask Bill Spoon what is under the bonnet of his
TVR). And another tidbit of news, the final aluminum Rover V8 engine was
assembled a few weeks ago... no more Rover V8s any longer (still about
950,000 BOPRover V8s produced since 1961).
