In doing some alternator replacements recently, I had to remove the air pump
on the B. In doing so, I apparently flexed the hose that goes between the
pump and the gulp valve. I flexed it enough so that it split about an inch
or so up the hose from the air pump end.
I didn't realize how much it had split until I put everything back together
and started it up. I've got a pretty good leak there. It doesn't appear
the the hose is available any longer (is it??) It doesn't appear to be
under too much pressure. I'm guessing that something on the order of heater
hose might work as a replacement. Has anyone out there replaced theirs and
what did you use? I like the look of the original custom fitted one, but -
can't have everything I guess.
TIA
