Key stuck in ignition

I had a spare key made for my "new" 75 B.  I had not used it, but last week a
friend took the car for a ride and used the spare instead of the original.
The key works, but now I can't get the ignition to go all the way back so as
to remove the key. I've gently messed with it several times, to no avail.  The
original key does this sporadically, but this one seems permanently stuck.
Any ideas??  Thanks...............
