Hi List: I found a quick way to know if you have the distributor 180 degrees wrong; it w'ont seat completely. I thought I had mine right, after removing so I could get the starter out, but I noticed it just did not want to seat against the block. Only about a quarter inch out, but not right. So, I did something right instead of forcing it home, I pulled it out a little, and turned the rotor half way around and bingo, it slid right up against the block. Thanks Dennis |
