Bernie, can't help you with a spare, but if it is the male end that failed
on yours, as many do, it can be fixed pretty easily.  Just unstake the
cover, remove the gear, press out the old shaft, and replace with a similar
length of .125 square key stock, and reassemble.  The key stock should be
available at your local hardware store, you will only need about 1" or 1.25"
and you should be able to do the job in a half hour or so.

would some kind soul have a spare right angle speedometer cable unit for
sale,
this is the unit that fit's on the transmission then to the speedometer
cable
(not the right angle that fits to the back of the speedometer unit).
My transmission is a  blue plate o/d in a 1971 "B"
